Give it one more shot

Well it's been a little while. I thought about not doing another blog, but oh well do I have to lose. Summer is coming to a close. I get the opportunity to teach sixth grade kids math this year. Looking forward to it, but a little nervous. Any prayers are appreciated.

• Dark Knight Rises was awesome. I think this trilogy will go down as the best ever, yea I just said that. 
• Got to read Albert Pujols biography, good read. 
• Olympics are going on four things I look to the most
• Basketball- Mostly because the US should dominate everyone if they stop playing sloppy. 
• Track and Field- Mostly because big and slow guys like me can dominate in hammer throw and shot-put. Also interested to see how Justin Gatlin will do coming back from suspension and to see Lolo Jones run ( if you ever read this Lolo, if you're into slightly overweight middle school teachers I got ya girl)
• Swimming and Beach Volleyball- I group this together because these athletes are so similar. I think Michael Phelps might need to go pound some more avocado sandwiches to win a few more gold and hopefully Lochte will never wear the grille again. I still think Maverick and Goose need their shot at Olympic Gold. Also these volleyball players are the ultimate optimists. 
• I know Chick Fil A has come under some fire lately, but if a Winshape camp ever comes close to you help out if you can. All the staff are really nice people and are doing their best to reach these kids for Christ. I got to help out a few times this summer and really had a good time.
